CF PROGRESI
CF Progresi is a factory for production of electrical cables in 100% private ownership. The owner Mr. Hevzi Xhelili, graduated economist, has been committed to set the factory as a model of correctness, standards and quality.
CF Progresi started its activity in 1991 as a commercial company trading mainly with electrical cables and other electrical material. The company initially was a distributor for Kosovo of electrical cables of well known international companies. Identifying the lack of domestic products in this field, made the owner of CF Progresi seriously think of shifting into production. All the capital created by hard work during the eight years of business, wiped out in 1999 during the war in Kosovo.
After the war the company had to start from scratch working in trade but gradually preparing the ground for shifting into cable production.
In 2005 the company starts the production line. On 23 October the first cable was produced.
With the commencement of production, special attention was paid to the fulfillment of standards in order for the factory to become the model targeted by the owner and his staff. As a result of hard work, the certification by ISO 9001:2000 than later with ISO 9001:2008, Standard was obtained. In addition, attests were done by domestic institute INTECH (The Institute for Science and Technology) Prishtinë and the well known international institute RADE KONCAR Zagreb.
Actually the factory is operating very stably in all fields of business. CF Progresi covers the Kosovo market and exports in the region countries like Albania and Macedonia. In the near future we expect to start exporting to Bosnia and Herzegovina and we also have requests from Greece and Sweden.
DIRECTOR’S WORD
At the occasion of end-year celebrations CF Progresi traditionally organizes special parties with all its workers. At the party organized in the end of 2007, director Mr. Hevzi Xhelili among others said: “Based on the market requests for a wider line of products, our commitment is to expand our production line and increase our production capacities in the near future.
